Recently, Denver’s KUSA-TV sent a reporter to Laredo, Texas to observe the deportation process for illegal aliens being sent back home to Mexico by bus from the South Texas Detention Complex in Pearsall.
The reporter, Will Ripley, went along with 22 Mexican nationals for the two hour bus ride to the Gateway International Bridge.
During their ride, Ripley spoke to Noe Mendoza, 28, a blunt speaking man who basically summed-up this country’s immigration enforcement policy (or the lack thereof) simply by telling his own story.
As Mendoza headed south, he said: “I know one of these days I'll come back real soon…I crossed the river - illegal, you know? Like all Mexicans come to America.”
Mendoza apparently entered the United States illegally when he was a teenager.
Mendoza eagerly told the reporter that his whole family is in the U.S., including 17 brothers.
And how did they get here?
“Everybody crossed the river,” Mendoza said.
While it may be maddening to hear an illegal alien speak with confidence on how quickly he will return to this supposedly sovereign nation, it is certainly by no means unusual.
In October 2007, Rolando Mota-Campos,43, whose face is adorned with a tear[drop] tattoo stood in a Norfolk, Va. federal courtroom to be sentenced for threatening to cut off a social worker's head with a machete.
U.S. District Judge Henry Coke Morgan Jr. said: ""The defendant has expressly stated that he has no respect for the United States and that once deported he will re-enter again and come back to Newport News where his history of alcohol abuse will further endanger the residents of this district."" Judge Morgan sentenced Mota-Campos to 14 1/2 years in prison.
According to court documents, when he was arrested, Mota-Campos told the ICE agent: “United States is stupid...I come back every time.”
You might say, truer words were never spoken…
It was Mota-Campos’11th arrest in the United States after having been deported three times back to Mexico.
While Judge Morgan may have temporarily ended this illegal alien’s personal reign of terror in this country for a few years, it is beyond sickening why this illegal alien with ties to the Mexican Mafia was able to disregard our border as well as the lives of innocent Americans for 19 years. He first entered this country illegally in 1988.
Mota-Campo's long criminal history in this country is as follows:
1992...abduction
1993...assault (2), DUI
1995...DUI, vehicular assault
1997...maiming, drunk in public
1998...attempted robbery
2003...DUI
2004...DUI, domestic violence (beating his wife and son)
2005...threatening to kill
The day after Mota-Campos was arrested with his 2004 DUI, he brutally attacked his wife and son. Fearing for her life, his wife then took their child and went into hiding. A few months later, he threatened to cut off the head of his wife's social worker with his machete because she would not tell him the whereabouts of his wife and child. Court documents reveal that he told her that ""her sweet little head can come right off.""
Though convicted numerous times on DUI charges, Mota-Campos never served more than a 30-day sentence for that charge.
These are but two of the many untold hordes of previously deported illegal aliens who have re-entered the United States, in many cases…only to harm our citizens.
Until the federal government actually gets serious about defending our border with Mexico, rather than actually encouraging the current invasion, it will continue to be open-season on American citizens’ jobs, money and lives.
Perhaps, one day, we will be smart enough to elect a leader who will take their oath of office seriously, rather than another corrupt businessman or community organizer who is willing to look the other way.
